PADI Advanced Open Water Course

The PADI Advanced Open Water Course is your next step following your PADI Open Water. The course offers you a structured program where you can expand your diving experience and build on the Knowledge you have learned from your Open Water course. PADI’ Advanced Open Water Course has something for everyone with the bulk of the course being in-water performance based.
You will complete a total five dives of which two are copulsory, your Deep dive and your Navigatio dive. You then choose a further three dives fromt the following list:

AWARE Fish ID – Boat Diver – Enriched Air- Multilevel Diver – Night Diver – Peak Performance Buoyancy – Underwater Naturalist – Underwater Photographer – Underwater Videographer – These are only a few of 28 specialities that PADI offers.

  • 1 Theory Session
  • 5 Open Water Dives
    • 2 core dives: Navigation and Deep
    • 3 Elective dives (e.g.: Night diving, boat, multilevel, …)
  • 2-3 days or approximately 15 hours

EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE

The PADI Medic First Aid course is designed to teach you basic training for CPR and emergency care. This is not a diving specific course and it’s open to anyone wishing to learn these skills. It also meets the CPR and First Aid prerequisite of the PADI Rescue Diver course.

PADI Rescue Diver Course

The PADI Rescue Diver course is an important step in expanding  a diver’s knowledge and experience beond a purely recreational level. During the course you put through your paces undertaking 12 training exercised. There is a knowledge development section to this course and you are required to have passed a sanctioned course in CPR within the past two years. The PADI Medic First Aid course is highly recommended and can be used to meet this requirement.
